About Frances and Yoga in West Sussex
Frances Brown is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher and dedicated practitioner of Iyengar yoga in Bognor Regis and Chichester, West Sussex, UK.
She did her two-year introductory Iyengar yoga teacher training course with Cathy Rogers and Ros Wakeford, and her junior intermediate three-year course with Judi Sweeting.
To continue her development, Frances attends many conventions, courses and workshops run by visiting senior Iyengar teachers such as Birjoo Mehta, Jawaha Banghera, Faeq Biria, and Christian Pisano, as well as those run by some of the best senior Iyengar yoga teachers in the UK.
In September 2005, Frances attended a one month course at the Iyengar Pune Centre in India, and had tuition from Geeta and Prashant Iyengar. She also regularly attended the remedial classes held there.
Frances is a member of both the local Sussex Iyengar yoga organisation
(IIYS) as well as the national Iyengar yoga association IYA (UK).
